WWE’s John Cena Donates $500K to First Responders Battling California Fires: ‘Doing My Part to Help’

John Cena is what I would truly call a great human being. Putting politics aside for a minute, he’s just an amazing guy.

He constantly gives back to children, visits them in hospitals, and has done more for the “Make a Wish” program than anyone in my lifetime that I can remember.

Now he’s giving back yet again.

John Cena is hoping to help first responders as California’s fast-moving fires continue to ravage the state.

The 42-year-old WWE Superstar turned actor announced on Twitter Monday that as his upcoming film Playing with Fire, “showcases a group of people I believe are heroes: First responders,” it only seems fit that he steps in during such a dire time.

“I’m asking that today on #FirstRespondersDay we do everything we can do to help those who risk their lives to protect us all,”

You can see his heartfelt video on Twitter below.

Thank You John, for just being a good human being. I’ve been a fan of yours since the day you came out and accepted the Angle challenge.
