This Antisemitic bigot is out of control. How has she not been impeached by not only her own party, but a unanimous vote from Congress?
Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar is in hot water again, this time for her apparent endorsement that Jesus was Palestinian and not Jewish.
Late last week, Muslim Scholar Omar Suleiman shared an article about Israel allegedly barring hundreds of Palestinians from traveling on Easter.
Suleiman captioned his tweet: “I was once asked by a relative who is a Palestinian Christian why the Christian right in America largely supports their oppression. Don’t they know we’re Christian too? Do they even consider us human? Don’t they know Jesus was a Palestinian?”
As evidenced in the screenshot below, Omar retweeted the false tweet claiming that Jesus was Palestinian.
Jesus was a Jew that was born in Israel when it was occupied by the Roman Empire.
While speaking with the Daily Mail, Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center slammed Omar’s comments.
“It was a grotesque insult to Jesus born in the land of Israel and to Christianity to suggest that he was a Palestinian,” Cooper said.
He added: “Palestine was a name made up by Romans after they crucified thousands, destroyed the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and exiled the People of Israel from their homeland.”
