WHAT? Schiff Won’t Say If He’ll Vote for Impeachment or Not?

Democrats are still ramming ahead with their plans to impeach President Donald Trump over his July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Despite no evidence that the president broke the law or committed an impeachable offense, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff is still determined to impeach Trump in the Democratic-controlled House.

But Schiff just stunned just about everyone when he admitted he didn’t know if he would vote to impeach Trump.

While speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Schiff refused to say whether he definitively backs impeaching Trump — despite, in Schiff’s words, “uncontested” evidence of wrongdoing.

“I want to discuss this with my constituents and colleagues before I make a final judgment on this,” Schiff said.

Tapper pressed Schiff on why he keeps claiming there’s “uncontested” evidence the president broke the law, yet he doesn’t know if he will vote to impeach Trump.

“I certainly think that the evidence that has been produced overwhelmingly shows serious misconduct from the president,” Schiff said. “I certainly want to hear more from my constituents and more from my colleagues.”
