During an interview with CBS News correspondent Errol Barnett on Wednesday, former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden lost his mind after Barnett asked him if he had taken a cognitive test.
“Have you taken a cognitive test?” Barnett asked.
“No, I haven’t taken a test,” Biden fired back. “Why the hell would I take a test? Come on man, that’s like saying, you, before you got in this program, if you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not, what do you think, huh? Are you a junkie?”
“What do you say to President Trump, who brags about his test and makes your mental state an issue for voters?” Barnett added.
“Well, if he can’t figure out the difference between an elephant and lion, I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about,” Biden bizarrely replied. “Did you watch that, look, come on man, I, I, I know you’re trying to goad me, but I mean I’m so forward looking to have an opportunity to sit with the president or stand with the president and debates. There gonna be plenty of time, and by the way, as I joke with’em, you know, I, I shouldn’t say it. I’m going to say something, I probably shouldn’t say.”
Biden finished, “Anyway, I am uh, I am very willing to let the American public judge my physical and mental fil- my physical as well as my mental fil- fitness.”

The question from Barnett comes after Biden stated in June that he was “constantly tested” for mental decline.
“Some have speculated that you are subject to some degree of cognitive decline,” a reporter said to Biden. “I’m 65, I don’t have word recollection that I used to have, I forgot my train of thought from time to time. You got 12 years on me, sir.”
“Have you been tested for some degree of cognitive decline?” the reporter questioned.
“I’ve been tested and I’m constantly tested,” Biden replied. “Look, all you got to do is watch me and I can hardly wait to compare my cognitive capability to the cognitive capability of the man I’m running against.”
During an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, Jill Biden spoke out about her husbands mental fitness.
“One of the things President Trump and his campaign have questioned is your husband’s cognitive abilities,” said host Dana Perino.
Perino went on to play a video clip where President Trump said, “Biden can’t put two sentences together.”
“I say he’s not competent to be president,” President Trump continued. “To be president you have to be sharp and tough and so many other things. He doesn’t even come out of his basement.”
Jill Biden replied, “You know, Joe is anything but that characterization. You know we’ve been campaigning; we’ve been listening to the experts, the scientists, and the doctors, and they have told us stay home and be safe, and I think Donald Trump is really about Joe’s age right? I think there’s like two or three years difference.”
