At least 35 hurt as tornadoes flatten buildings in Dayton, Ohio

Dayton Fire Department Chief Jeffrey Payne said he had never seen a large tornado strike the Dayton, Ohio metropolitan area before. The storm caused injuries, flattened homes and damaged apartments.

51 tornado reported nationwide, 6 in Ohio; search and rescue underway in Dayton.
