The CEO if Texas Roadhouse restaurants has given up his salary in order to pay front line employees of the company during the Coronavirus outbreak.
W. Kent Taylor will forgo his salary and bonus from the pay period starting March 18th through Jan 7, 2021. WOW!
In 2018, Louisville Business First reported that Taylor’s total compensation was $1.3 million with his base salary being $525,000.
Texas Roadhouse has over 460 locations in 49 of 50 states, plus the restaurant has expanded internationally, opening five locations in the Middle East.
The large steak house chain said it is also suspending its dividend as it moves to conserve cash during the coronavirus pandemic.
