Scary news coming out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Thursday morning.
Here is the following statement from The Justice Department:
Mustafa Mousab Alowemer, 21, was arrested based on a federal complaint charging him with one count of attempting to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State, according to the U.S.
He’s also charged with two counts of distributing information relating to an explosive, destructive device or weapon of mass destruction in relation to plan to attack the church. The Justice Department did not name the church in its release.
Alowemer was born in Daraa, Syria, and was admitted to the U.S. as a refugee in August of 2016. This is according to the Justice Departments Complaint.
