One of the coolest things you’ll see this week.

NASA on Sunday shared a photo of the sun looking a lot like a giant flaming jack-o’-lantern.

They say the photo was taken in 2014 and shows “active regions” on the Sun creating the spooky face.

According to the Facebook post, the image was taken in ultraviolet light by the Solar Dynamics Observatory satellite.

“They are markers of an intense and complex set of magnetic fields hovering in the sun’s atmosphere, the corona,” the space agency wrote on their website. “This image blends together two sets of extreme ultraviolet wavelengths at 171 and 193 Ångströms, typically colorized in gold and yellow, to create a particularly Halloween-like appearance.”
