Well here’s something that you didn’t need a rocket scientist to tell you. Actually, that might help.
I spent Thursday and Friday last week on social media telling folks to not feel sorry for idiots who went on cruises recently knowing the Coronavirus was out-breaking across the globe. Sensitive snowflakes and conservatives with no backbone took offense to my “tough” tone.
Now the State Department has backed me up, telling Americans to stop traveling by cruise ships due to the CoronaVirus outbreak.
The warning states underlying conditions such as heart disease, chronic lung disease, diabetes, and conditions that suppress the immune system according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The CDC states that they normally advise against destinations, not travel itself. But the Coronavirus is an exception.
“Recent reports of COVID-19 on cruise ships highlight the risk of infection to cruise ship passengers and crew. Like many other viruses, COVID-19 appears to spread more easily between people in close quarters aboard ships.” the CDC stated.
