Heavy law enforcement presence descended upon President Donald Trump’s Palm Beach residence Friday after a pursuit crossed a security check point, and ended with shots fired.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Florida Highway Patrol troopers were in pursuit of a black SUV that was headed toward two security check points at Mar-A-Logo, in Palm Beach.
The SUV breached both security check points heading toward the main entrance.
At some point, deputies said authorities fired shots at the vehicle.
The SUV has since been located and two individuals are currently in custody.
No injuries have been reported.
President Trump is due to arrive at Palm Beach International Airport Friday evening.
This is an ongoing and developing story.
