‘She’s Tough’: Lindsey Graham Predicts Who Biden Will Pick As His Vice President

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has pretty much wrapped up the nomination. With no one left in the race, he’s just waiting to officially reach the delegate threshold required by the Democratic National Committee.

He has already begun looking to select a running mate to help him defeat President Donald Trump in November.

Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham thinks he knows who Biden plans to pick: California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris.

While appearing on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, Graham said Biden may not have control over his pick for vice president given liberals are pretty much telling Joe who he “better” pick if he wants their support.

“Has former Vice President Biden lost his step, or a lap, or even the energy necessary to run for president?” Hewitt asked.

“You know, ask me that in October. He’s doing well in his basement,” the South Carolina Republican quipped before cautioning Republicans not to underestimate Biden’s appeal to voters. “He’s nicer than Hillary Clinton. And he’s not as wild as Bernie Sanders on policy. He will be appealing at first glance, but what we have to do is associate him with an agenda that’s not appealing. He’s the front guy of a very dangerous agenda.”

Graham warned that Biden has “put himself in a box” on his vice presidential pick because Democrats have said they will not support him if he does not select a minority woman.

“That means your committee member Kamala Harris, doesn’t it?” Hewitt asked.

“I think she’s the leading candidate. I know her. I didn’t like what she did in Kavanaugh by any stretch of the imagination. But she’s hard-nosed. She’s smart. She’s tough,” Graham said, remarking on how the California Democrat could be an asset to Biden’s campaign.

Biden has been floating a lot of names around lately, perhaps looking to see how the public reacts to them.

Speculation has been rife that Biden may select Stacey Abrams.

Abrams is the failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate who still has not conceded the election from 2018 and claims she lost by more than 50,000 votes because of “voter suppression.”

During an online campaign event last month, Sleepy Joe said he’s coming for Harris.

Biden said: “I’m so lucky to have you be a part of this partnership going forward. Working together, we can make a great deal of progress. … I’m coming for you, kid.”

Things have gotten so weird that Biden said he would undoubtedly select former First Lady Michelle Obama to be his running mate, though he admitted she likely does not want to jump back into politics anytime soon.

“I’d take her in a heartbeat,” Biden said when asked if he would add Obama to the ticket. “She’s brilliant. She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman. The Obamas are great friends.”

However, he said he doubts she wants the job.

“I don’t think she has any desire to live near the White House again,” Biden said.

Biden has vowed to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court if he comes president and says he will choose a woman to serve as his running mate.
