A huge victory for conservative investigator and influencer Matt Couch announced on Monday as one of the two defamation lawsuits remaining against he and others has been dropped by the plaintiff.
Almost 18 months ago, Brad Bauman, a crisis manager for the Pastorum group who used to represent the family of Seth Rich, filed a defamation suit against Matt Couch, America First Media Group, Dallas business mogul Ed Butowsky, and Billionaire Gary Heavin, the owner of Curves Weight Loss Clinics.
Today Bauman’s attorney’s announced they were dropping their defamation lawsuit against Couch and his team of investigators.
“Pursuant to F.R.C.P. 41(a)(1)(A)(i) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Plaintiff Brad Bauman, by counsel, hereby gives notice of the above-captioned action is voluntarily dismissed, without prejudice, against defendants Matthew Couch and America First Media Group. Neither defendant Couch nor defendant America First Media Group has filed either an answer or a motion for summary judgement.”
“To all of you who’ve been backing and supporting our team with thoughts, prayers, and spirit we cannot thank you enough. This is a huge victory for free speech and the truth in America,” stated Matt Couch founder of America First Media Group and The DC Patriot.
