Rush Limbaugh Reveals He Has “Advanced Lung Cancer”

On Monday morning, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh announced that he has been diagnosed with “advanced lung cancer” and that he will be missing his shows for treatments.

“Ladies and gentleman, this day has been one of the most difficult days in recent memory for me because I’ve known this moment was coming in the program today,” Limbaugh began. “I’m sure you all know by now, I really don’t like talking about myself.

He also said “I know one thing that has happened over the past 31 plus years of this program is that there has been an incredible bond that has developed between all of you and me.”

“So,I have to tell you something today that I wish I didn’t have to tell you.  It’s been a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today,” he said.  I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down.  The upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lunch cancer.

Many of us grew up listening to Rush as he took the airwaves and started to dominate them in the late 1980’s. He’s the largest voice in America for conservatives, and is single handedly responsible for keeping hope alive in the hearts of millions.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rush Limbaugh during this difficult time in his life. We love you buddy. You can watch the video of his announcement below.
