The race has been called tonight in Mississippi as Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith wins big over Democratic challenger Mike Espy. At the latest count, Hyde-Smith had close to 60% of the votes in tonight’s election.
Congratulation to @cindyhydesmith on her decisive victory in #MSSenate.
Cindy will be a reliable conservative voice supporting President @realDonaldTrump’s efforts to appoint conservative judges, maintain a strong military, secure our borders, and support a growing economy. https://t.co/Gr2FnLgKTW

The win gives Republicans a 53-47 advantage and gain in the United States Senate. With the ability to go nuclear thanks to Harry Reid, expect the Senate to work on President Trump’s agenda of hammering through a slew of conservative judges across the country over the next two years. This is the transformation of America back to it’s roots, and something the liberal left is scared to death about.
Congratulations to @cindyhydesmith!
With our victory in Mississippi, @realDonaldTrump has another strong ally in the Senate and our majority is growing to 53!
A president gaining Senate seats in his first midterm is an accomplishment only seen a few times in history.
