It’s nice to see an American President who understands the sacrifices of the greatest generation of Americans.
President Trump has been in the United Kingdom and France the past few days for the historic 75th anniversary of D-Day. The invasion of Normandy where Americans and our allies dropped in on German forces, and turned the tide of World War II.
“You are among the very greatest Americans who will ever live. You are the pride of our nation. You are the glory of our republic, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”
4,413 Americans lost their lives on that day, so that we may have the freedoms that we have today.
We can never forget them, and we can never forget their sacrifice. So many of them had lives ahead of them, so many of them gave the ultimate sacrifice for You and I.
