Police: Shooting at Daytona Busy Boardwalk, 2 Injured, 1 in Custody (VIDEO)

Daytona Beach police say two people were shot at a 7-Eleven, near the boardwalk, on Saturday.

Investigators say both people received non-life threatening injuries at the convenience store on South Atlantic Avenue.

The shooting is still under investigation and this is a developing story.

Earlier this evening, we had a shooting on the beach side, several people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and have been treated and released. This is an ongoing investigation.

You may have seen larger than normal crowds this evening, both on the beach side, and on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. The Police Department deployed resources to assist with traffic control. The crowds were compliant when asked to disperse. No arrests were made.
