With the election now only a little over four months away, Democrats are in desperation mode and will use every dirty trick in the book to steal it from President Trump.
Once again, the big lie will be a critical part of the coming onslaught against Trump and his supporters and what bigger lie in American political history than another hoax that involves the POTUS and Russia.
On Sunday morning, Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared on ABC’s “This Week” with Clinton family mouthpiece George Stephanopoulos where she promoted the latest conspiracy theory that Trump is in cahoots with Putin.
The basis for this malarkey is yet another New York Times story based on information from the usual anonymous intelligence sources, this time that Trump turned a blind eye while the Russians placed bounties on the heads of U.S. troops in Afthanistan.
Via The Washington Examiner, “‘All roads lead to Putin’: Pelosi suggests Russia has dirt on Trump that led him to ‘ignore’ bounty briefing”:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi isn’t buying President Trump’s denial that he was briefed on reports of Russia placing bounties on U.S. troops.
The California Democrat told ABC’s This Week on Sunday that she believes Russia is holding something over Trump and causing him to “ignore” intelligence briefings that should have negative consequences against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“This is as bad as it gets, and yet the president will not confront the Russians on this score — denies being briefed. Whether he is or not, his administration knows, and our allies, some of our allies who work with us in Afghanistan have been briefed and accept this report. Just as I have said to the president, with him, all roads lead to Putin,” Pelosi said.
“I don’t know what the Russians have on the president, politically, personally, financially, or whatever it is. But he wants to ignore — he wants to bring them back to the G-8 despite the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Ukraine. Despite what they yielded to him in Syria. Despite his intervention into our election, which is well documented by our intelligence community, and despite now, possibly, this allegation, which we should have been briefed on,” she added.
That the New York Times is still treated as a credible source is the height of comedy, it is that same paper that promoted the lies that led to the Iraq war and fed three years of Russia hysteria that has since been debunked.
