North and South Korea to seek co-host of 2032 Olympics

North Korea and South Korea continue to make progress at their summit. President Moon Jae-in says he and President Kim Jong Un will seek a joint co hosting effort for the 2032 Olympics as hosts.

The two Nations also agreed to cooperate in major sports events such as the 2020 Summer Olympics, but didn’t go into details.

Kim stated that he will be visiting Seoul “in the near future” and the two leaders also agreed on a Pyongyang Art Troupe visiting Seoul for performance in October.
