Nike Cancels ‘Betsy Ross Flag’ Sneaker After Colin Kaepernick Complains

That’s right, the king of knee taking strikes again. This time getting a Patriotic sneaker named after American Icon Betsy Ross cancelled.

Kaepernick told Nike that the shouldn’t sell shoes that he and others find “offensive.”

That’s right America, he finds the American flag offensive. Great generations have fought and died for that flag so Captain “Take a knee” can complain about it.

According to The Wall Street Journal, The sneaker giant created the Air Max 1 USA in celebration of the July Fourth holiday, and it was slated to go on sale this week. The heel of the shoe featured a U.S. flag with 13 white stars in a circle, a design created during the American Revolution and commonly referred to as the Betsy Ross flag.

After the shoes has shipped out to retailers, Nike asked for them to be shipped back with no explanation as to why.

“Nike has chosen not to release the Air Max 1 Quick Strike Fourth of July as it featured the old version of the American flag,” a Nike spokeswoman said.

So there you have it. Social Justice Warriors again have found a “version” of the American flag offensive.

This guy is ridiculous.
