Bombs exploded early Sunday in Sri Lanka as Christian churches were targeted by Terrorists. So far there at least 207 dead, and 450 wounded as numbers are still coming in.
President Trump tweeted out “The United States offers heartfelt condolences to the great people of Sri Lanka. We stand ready to help!”
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi also offered her condolences. “Today’s heartbreaking attacks in Sri Lanka come as the country has worked hard to build a common future after years of war. Our thoughts are with the injured & the families of those killed in today’s Easter Sunday attacks.”
According to Israeli News, the intelligence community in Sri Lanka felt an attack was imminent on Easter Sunday.
Here’s what we know so far. On Easter Sunday, at least 8 coordinated bombing attacks struck Sri Lanka, targeting churches and hotels — At least 207 people are dead and 450 others wounded — 7 people have been detained in connection with the attacks.
