Just when you thought USA Women’s Soccer Star Megan Rapinoe couldn’t get anymore triggered by the President, but wait there’s more!
Far-left women’s USA soccer star Megan Rapinoe has been at the forefront of the news in recent months for her hatred for President Donald Trump.
During the world cup, Rapinoe was asked if she would visit the White House if her team won the championship. “I’m not going to the f***ing White House. No. I’m not going to the White House. We’re not gonna be invited. I doubt it.”
although the world cup is over, Rapinoe still continues with her hateful, anti-Trump rhetoric. After Colin Kaepernick kneeled for the National Anthem, Rapinoe decided to follow in his footsteps of disrespecting the American flag. After being called out by President Trump, Rapinoe recently responded saying, “It’s ridiculous and absurd. People were like: ‘That was so intense!’ And I’m like: ‘Honestly, he’s a fucking joke, so it wasn’t intense, because this is ridiculous.’”
During an interview with theGuardian, Rapinoe opened up about her family life including her parent’s political views. She first responded to how it felt to be “attacked” by the President online.
The only moment where I was like ‘Aaaargh!’ was when I thought: ‘Is this going to affect the team in some way?’ I didn’t want that to happen. But actually I have the opposite [view of] authority – my sister and I both. I wouldn’t say that we’re anti-authority, but when there’s a person who is abusing their power or manipulating people, whether it’s a teacher when I was younger or Donald Trump now, there’s nothing that fires me up and grinds my gears more. I was just like: ‘No. That’s not happening.’” she said.
