The Justice Department announced on Monday that a 60-year-old Lebanese-American businessman named George Nader had been arrested at JFK Airport in New York City.
Nader is of course one of the key witnesses in the Special Counsels report on the Trump Administration and Russia.
The arrest followed a sealed indictment first filed in January of 2018 after Nader arrived at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, while in possession of a cellphone that contained child pornography.
In more shocking news, Nader plead guilty to similar charges in Virginia in 1991.
If he’s convicted of the same crime again, he could face the mandatory minimum of 15 years to a maximum of 40 years in federal prison.
Of course the Department of Justice press release made no mention to the fact that Nader is the key witness in the Mueller Report.
Nader according to the report served as a liaison between associates of Trump and government officials from Russia and other Middle Eastern nations in 2016 and 2017.
It certainly puts in question the Russian nonsense of hacking in the Mueller report, now doesn’t it?
