Attorney General William Barr has officially gone and done it. He has appointed a Special Prosecutor to investigate the origins of the Russian Hoax.
According to the Associated Press, Barr has appointed a U.S. Attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if intelligence collection involving the Trump campaign was “lawful and appropriate.”
The source stated that Barr has appointed John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry. The AP’s source said they could not discuss this matter publicly and spoke on a condition of anonymity.
This announcement comes almost a month after the Attorney General told Congress he believed spying occurred on the Trump Campaign.
This is a developing story.
