Kamala Harris dropped into a virtual Biden fundraiser on Wednesday, with an endorsement of the newly minted presumptive 2020 Democratic nominee.
Biden thanked the California senator for her endorsement, telling donors during the digital event Wednesday that her support means “a lot.” “I’m so lucky to have you as part of this, this partnership going forward,” the two-term former vice president said. “So, I’m coming for you, kid,” Biden added.
Biden, who became the presumptive nominee after Bernie Sanders bowed out of contention, has promised to choose a woman as his No. 2 heading into the general election against Trump.
He’s named a handful of possibilities including Harris, whom he has also mentioned as a potential Supreme Court pick.
