Illinois on Lockdown as Governor Issues Stay at Home Orders

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker issued a “stay-at-home” order Friday for the State of Illinois to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Pritzker said the order goes into effect at 5pm local time on Saturday March 21st until April 7th.

“For the vast majority of you already taking precautions, your lives will not change very much,” he said.

Illinois joins California and New York as the third state to go to mandatory stay at home orders.
