HILARIOUS: Reporter Has No Idea His Filter is on During Facebook Live Broadcast

A hilarious story on your Saturday coming out of North Carolina.

A reporter in North Carolina is trying to keep his community informed about snowy conditions but didn’t realize his Snapchat filter was on during his Facebook live.

But this week’s snow coverage in the mountains provided more than just the usual reports of accumulation and black ice.

On Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, News 13’s Justin Hinton began reporting live from Madison County on road conditions, tracking snowfall in the area.

Starting off, however, Justin was seen with a big, yellow medallion hanging around his neck (not a typical part of his on-camera wardrobe).

From there, it only got wackier. Weights popped up, a hat and glasses, and more.

Looking back, Justin said he had somehow accidentally activated a filter generator on the phone being used.

“The photog I was working with said something about the screen having weird faces,” Justin said in a Facebook post. “He didn’t elaborate, so I said it would probably go away. Needless to say, it did not go away.”
