Sargent Ron Helus went in when others ran last night at a deadly California night club shooting. While others ran, Helus went inside to take on the shooter. He’s one of 12 fatalities at this horrific attack on Americans. The suspect is dead at the scene, thanks to the heroics of Helus and others. Rest in Peace knowing you served your State and Country Well. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends hero.
Another Blue Knight was lost last night. He died in the act of protecting and serving, as so many of his brothers and sisters have before him.
Sgt. Ron Helus, you died saving lives
There is no higher calling
Rest In Peace
Sincere condolences to the family and coworkers

The thoughts of every #NYPD member this morning are with the families & colleagues of all those killed or injured in the shooting inside a Thousand Oaks, Calif., bar — 12 innocent lives taken, including the first Ventura County cop on the scene: Sgt. Ron Helus, a 29-year veteran. pic.twitter.com/FYpud7yg1s

Here's a challenge for the mainstream media..
Can you talk today about Sgt. Ron Helus who went into the California bar and took out the shooter.. He's now deceased and served his City, State, and Nation with great honor.
Let's talk about him today, shall we? #ThinBlueLine
