For the study,researchers tracked 1,165 men between the ages of 40 and 70 for an average of 16 years, and analyzed their health history in order to understand the relationship between sexual activity and cardiovascular health.
The research discovered that the men who had the most sex had the lowest risk of developing cardiovascular disease, and to get into more specifics, those who had sex two to three times per week were 45 percent less likely to have heart problems than those who only got it on once a month.
