It’s a sad day in the world of professional wrestling. Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro is dead at 39 tonight. Her death is currently under investigation.
Massaro is a former WWE Women’s and Diva’s Champion, as well as a Playboy Playmate. She had an amazing career in the WWE, and had just started a comeback, training to wrestle again.
Ashley Massaro was involved in the recently thrown out concussion lawsuit against WWE, but more disturbingly, her personal allegations included that she was sexually assaulted on a US Military Base in Kuwait on a WWE tour, and was intimidated not to report it.
Former WWE Wrestler Mick Foley stated “This is just awful news – Ashley Massaro is gone. She was only 39. She lived in the same town as me…I loved seeing her around. She was always so nice…and now she’s gone.”
