Former Iranian Leader Insults France Over Notre Dame Cathedral

When you wonder about people using a tragedy to politicize an agenda, look no further than the Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

He took to twitter on Tuesday to wish his condolences to the people of France, here’s his statement.

“I send my condolences to all people who worship in divine temples, especially the #NotreDame and God Bless the courageous firefighters. Wouldn’t it be better if the Government of France invested in a modern fire fighting system instead of military interference in other countries”

I’m truly blown away by the walks of life that will take a horrific event and try to turn it into a political football.

I mean after all, this is Iran, so why should I be surprised. I wonder if Ilhan Omar will retweet him? I’m waiting on that, aren’t you?
