The U.S. Secret Service took a Chicago restaurant employee into custody Tuesday after she spit in Eric Trump’s face. Reports say that she walked away while bashing President Trump under her breath, according to Breitbart News.
The son of President Trump did not press charges against the woman, but stated that it reflected on the left and our society today.
“It was purely a disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems,” Eric Trump told Breitbart Tuesday. Eric Trump decided not to press charges against her and the woman was later released from police custody.
“For a party that preaches tolerance, this once again demonstrates they have very little civility. When somebody is sick enough to resort to spitting on someone, it just emphasizes a sickness and desperation and the fact that we’re winning,” he explained to Breitbart.
Earlier Tuesday, a reporter for NBC channel 5 in Chicago, Mary Ann Ahern tweeted, “Hearing of incident at Aviary tonight, an employee allegedly spit on son of Donald Trump who is visiting Chicago, offender now in US Secret Service custody.”
