Far-left CNN opinion host Don Lemon went on an unhinged rant during his show on Sunday night, specifically attacking President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
Lemon, without any evidence, claimed that the President is obsessed with former President Barack Obama because he is “smarter” and because he has a “more accomplished” wife.
What is it about President Obama that really gets under your skin?” Lemon said during he hate filled rant. “Is it because he’s smarter than you? Better educated? Made it on his own — didn’t need daddy’s help?”
“Wife is more accomplished?” Lemon added, specifically targeting Melania Trump. “Better looking?” Lemon bizarrely claimed.
“I don’t know, what is it, what is it about him?” Lemon said. “That he’s a black man that’s accomplished, became president? That he punked you on the whole birth certificate thing? What is it about him? Just wondering.”
The rant quickly trended on Twitter and received praise from his radical left supporters. It did however receive some backlash as well.
“Don Lemon here says maybe Trump hates Obama because Michelle is more accomplished than Melania,” said BlazeTV’s Allie Beth Stuckey. “I can’t even imagine the outcry if the same had been said about Laura Bush. Cries of racism galore!”
“I guess it’s cool to hate on immigrants when they’re named Trump,” she added.
Lemon was probably butt-hurt from one of President Trump’s tweets earlier in the week where he called him the “dumbest man on television.”
On Thursday, President Donald Trump shredded MSNBC host Brian Williams in a tweet, specifically calling him out for his stollen valor and claims he had made about the Iraq War.
“Lyin’ Brian Williams of MSDNC, a Concast Scam Company, wouldn’t know the truth if it was nailed to his wooden forehead,” President Trump tweeted. “Remember when he lied about his bravery in a helicopter? Totally made up story. He’s a true dummy who was thrown off Network News like a dog. Stay tuned!”
