CLASS ACT: NFL Star Wears Name of Slain Retired St. Louis Police Captain David Dorn on Helmet

In a story that won’t be covered by the mainstream media, we’ve found a diamond in the rough in Jacksonville Jaguars Star Tight End Tyler Eifert.

Eifert on Sunday wore the name of the slain Black Police Captain David Dorn on the back of his helmet. While the majority of the NFL is pushing to defund and attack the police, Eifert is standing with them.

What a true class act of courage this took from this star. Well done young man, well done.

You can see the tweet below from David Hoostead of The Daily Caller.

Jacksonville Jaguars star Tyler Eifert wore David Dorn’s name on his helmet today. Dorn was a retired police captain who was murdered during the riots in St. Louis. This was a 100% pure class move from Eifert.

Wouldn’t it be great if more pro athletes actually shared stories of true heroes like this? Instead of trying to make Martyrs out of career felons?
