Chicago Police are outraged over what prosecutor Kim Foxx did Tuesday morning, dropping all charges against Empire star Jussie Smollett.
The Chicago Police Union is calling for a federal investigation into the Cool Country State’s Attorney’s actions in the Jussie Smollett case.
Just three days after Smollett claimed that he was attacked, Foxx asked Chicago PD to turn the case over to the FBI, they refused.
The request came after Foxx exchanged emails and text messages with relatives and a supporter of Smollett.
Foxx would later recuse herself from the case.
The Chicago Police Union and the FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) want Foxx investigated by federal investigators to see whether Foxx broke the law or not by talking to a suspect about his case before charges were levied.
