BUSTED: ABC News Used Footage from Kentucky Gun Range as Turkey Attacking Kurds in Syria

In the words of Gomer Pyle, “Surprise Surprise Surprise.”

ABC News was busted earlier this morning when footage they claimed was from Turkish forces attacking Kurds in Syria was actually from a Kentucky gun range.

ABC literally tried to pass off a shooting range in Kentucky called Knob Creek as early footage from Turkey and Syria.

ABC News issued a retraction late Monday morning.

CORRECTION: We’ve taken down video that aired on “World News Tonight” Sunday and “Good Morning America” this morning that appeared to be from the Syrian border immediately after questions were raised about its accuracy. ABC News regrets the error.

Make no mistake about it. ABC isn’t sorry, they’re sorry they got caught.
