British Court of Appeals have released Conservative Journalist Tommy Robinson on bail, pending a fresh hearing over his contempt charge. The Media was silenced in Britain, and not allowed to report on Tommy Robinson, which sent Brits to the streets by the thousands in protest.

Robinson back in May was arrested, tried, and sentenced to jail time for a bogus contempt charge in a matter of 5 hours. The British courts stated that the quickness of his guilty charge gave rise to “unfairness” and it also stated there was a “lack of clarity” on the case.

A new trial has now been ordered to take place by the British Court of Appeal, but the Lord Chief Justice ruled that Robinson had already served sufficient time pending the outcome of the retrial, and was, therefore, to be released.
