It took a week, but Joe Biden has finally condemned the violent attack on a conservative journalist that happened last weekend.
The Democratic presidential candidate “believes violence directed at anyone because of their political opinions is never acceptable, regardless of what those beliefs might be,” a campaign spokesman said in a statement to The Post. “He believes freedom of expression is fundamental to who we are as Americans, and that Andy Ngo’s attackers should be identified and investigated.”
Ngo was attacked by Antifa protesters at an event in Portland Oregon on June 29th, and hospitalized with head injuries.
Few Democrats have condemned the attacks other than Biden and Congressman Eric Swalwell. The majority of conservative politicians have spoken out in force about the violent attack.
