With the coronavirus impacting people throughout the state, the Cardinals are making a commitment to help their neighbors.
The organization announced it had made a $1 million founding contribution on March 24 to the AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund, part of the Arizona Together initiative launched Tuesday by Governor Doug Ducey to aid in the battle against COVID-19.
After this recent contribution the Cardinals are now doubling down by donating one million meals to five Arizona-based food banks to help feed the needy during these most trying of times. The donations will be handed out to these following food banks:
St. Mary’s Food Bank
St. Vincent DePaul
United Food Bank
Phoenix Rescue Mission
Midwest Food Bank
This is part of a larger effort from the NFL, its teams and players to help those affected most by a pandemic that has now cost the lives of 94,500-plus people worldwide.
