We all know that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is about as credible as a poop flavored lollipop when it comes to American history.
She proved this once again with what is more than likely her most epic fail to date.
She claimed that Republicans “amended the constitution” to prevent the the re-election of President Franklin Roosevelt.
Roosevelt died in office in 1945 at the end of World War II, and the Constitution was amended in 1947, great work AOC.
“They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt did not get reelected.”
“When our party was boldest, the time of the New Deal, the Great Society, the Civil Rights Act… we had a period of super majorities in the House and the Senate, we had the presidency. They had to amend the constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt did not get re-elected,” Cortez claimed during a town hall event on MSNBC.
That’s interesting, because Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican according to his niece Alveda King. More lies from the party of lies.
Folks, you just can’t cure stupid.
