This probably isn’t the look that one of the President’s staunchest supporters was looking for heading into the weekend. But none the less, he got what he asked for.
Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida voted with Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats to limit the Presidents power to go to war with Iran without their approval.
A move that Nancy Pelosi has no power over as it’s already been ruled unconstitutional in 1983 by the United States Supreme Court. Pelosi has no power over the USSC. This resolution will never be held up, it’s again all smoke and mirrors. However concerning none the less that Gaetz voted this way.
It didn’t take Alyssa Milano long to jump on the Matt Gaetz bandwagon.
Gaetz took to Tucker Carlson to try to explain why he voted the way he did. If you have to explain yourself Congressman, you’ve already lost the battle.
