Adults Now Getting Swaddled to Reduce Stress

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, but wait there’s more.

This new Japanese therapy is supposed to help you beat stress. By taking you back to the womb.

“Otanamaki” is a relaxation technique that aims to recreate the comfort and safety babies feel when they’re being swaddled.

It was invented by a Japanese midwife Noboko Watanabe to ease parents’ fears about the safety of tightly wrapping infants by showing them exactly how comfy it is.

The technique has taken off as a way to unwind. The only thing that’s missing is a baby’s lullaby.

You’re welcome America, good luck getting this out of your head.
