A 95-year-old veteran who lived through the Great Depression and World War II just beat the coronavirus.
Bill Kelly of Oregon, who is already facing underlying medical conditions, including kidney disease, a congenital heart condition and high blood pressure, is recovering at home.
Mr Kelly started getting sick with a low-grade fever on March 15; he was diagnosed with the coronavirus on March 17. And spent a week in isolation.
For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia and death. The vast majority of people recover. Which is great news!!
While The U.S. death toll from the coronavirus climbed past 3,500 Tuesday, eclipsing China’s official count. But you have to ask yourself are we really getting the real numbers from China? I’m willing to bet we are not.
America we will get through this, stay strong and help each other out. Because when we start turning on each other because of fear bad things will happen.
This 95 year old veteran just beat this virus. So there is hope that not just young people but older people as well can survive this.
