According to our sources on the ground in Chicago, they have the letter that “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett sent to himself.
Smollett admitted to Chicago police that he mailed the letter to himself. Federal authorities are in possession of this letter.
Federal prosecutors we are told are awaiting results of saliva to see if Smollett’s DNA is on the letter before pressing charges.
