Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez denied the allegations of fraud filed against her in an FEC complaint this week.
“There is no violation, there is no violation’ Ocasio-Cortez stated as she ran from reporters on Tuesday.
The bombshell complaint has been filed against the freshman congresswoman and her chief of staff. They claim over $900,000 in campaign funds were funneled from a PAC to a private company.
The reason for the red flags here, when all of that money moves around, it was just labeled for strategic consulting. You can see him explain it in the Fox News report above.
“These are not minor or technical violations. We are talking about real money here. In all my years of studying FEC reports, I’ve never seen a more ambitious operation to circumvent reporting requirements. Representative Ocasio-Cortez has been quite vocal in condemning so called dark money, but her own campaign went to great lengths to avoid the sunlight of disclosure.” –Tom Anderson, National Legal & Policy Center, Government Integrity Protection Director.
The law says that specific payments need to be labeled specifically. AOC is very enthusiastic about getting President Trump’s financial records, how will she act now that the shoe is on the other foot as they say?
