The father of the ISIS bride who joined ISIS in 2014 and left the United States is suing President Trump over her U.S. citizenship and seeking her return.
Ahmed Ali Muthana filed a lawsuit Thursday in federal court in Washington, D.C. to prevent the “unlawful attempt” by the United States to cancel his daughters citizenship.
All of a sudden after letting his daughter leave with ISIS and marrying them, he wants to earn a father of the year award. Really Ahmed? You let your daughter join ISIS, and now you want to play the role of “Dad?”
At the age of 19, Hoda Muthana who was living in Hoover, Alabama left for Syria to join ISIS. After five years now that ISIS is defeated Muthana now says she wants to come home. I think I speak for most Americans when I say “No thanks!”
The President tweeted that he directed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to not allow her back into the country. Pompeo has been making the rounds on media outlets backing the President, and calling her a non citizen and a member of ISIS.
Pompeo stated that Muthana is “not a US citizen and will not be admitted into the United States. She does not have any legal basis, no valid US passport, no right to a passport, nor any visa to travel to the United States.”
Speaking on NBC Thursday, Pompeo confirmed the administration’s position that Muthana was not a citizen because of her father’s diplomatic status when she was born.
“To say that I regret my past words, any pain that I caused my family and any concerns I would cause my country would be hard for me to really express properly,” the statement reads.
“During my years in Syria I would see and experience a way of life and the terrible effects of war which changed me. Seeing bloodshed up close changed me. Motherhood changed me. Seeing friends, children, and the men I married dying changed me,” Muthana wrote.
This of course after she made all of these disturbing tweets about America and her hatred for the west. While supporting a terrorist group for 5+ years.
I mean, I’m sure she’s totally changed her mind on wanting to kill all of us, right?
