First off, the initial reports of the alleged crime committed against Jussie Smollett should be taken seriously and should be investigated to the fullest extent. Should the allegations be true, the attackers should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Smollett had stated that the individuals were yelling racist and homophobic slurs and then allegedly put a rope around his neck and poured a chemical on his body. Chicago Police Department said he then drove or walked himself to Northwestern Hospital.

With that being said, it is also important to recognize that walking on the 300 Block of East North LOWER Water Street at 2 a.m. in the morning on one of the likely 3 coldest days of the year doesn’t quite add up. In Chicago, there are some streets that have two levels, and are labeled upper and lower to distinguish the two. The lower level is underground. Nobody in the MSM is questioning what an individual is doing walking around at 2 a.m. in single degree digits in CHICAGO.

While we await for the Chicago Police Department to release additional information including the 911 call (which will be telling). In the meantime, we have had the Chicago Police Department walk back initial reports, then reissue the fact that they gathered the information in a supplemental interview.

We also had reports of the FBI taking over the case as well, and that was shot down by CPD Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi as well.

And as of right now, there are no surveillance cameras that have caught the alleged assailants in this attack.

It is also important to recognize that Smollett is also an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump. Since 2011, Smollett has been vocal on twitter of his disdain for the president. Below are a few of the tweets that Smollett has posted.
