Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took to the Senate floor this afternoon to hammer Democrats in the Senate. McConnell stated “This shameful, shameful smear campaign has hit a new low.”
McConnell went on to say “I want to make it perfectly clear…This fine nominee to the Supreme Court will receive a vote, in this Senate, in the near future.” He then added “All of these facts are quite clearly on one side. Maybe that’s why the Democrats are so panicked. Maybe that’s why they are so willing to try to bring down this nominee.”
The Kavanaugh smear is just another attempt by Democrats in America to try to undermine anything that President Trump does. The allegations some 36 years old, with no evidence, no witnesses, are just a laughing stock of American politics at the moment. All of this can end however if the GOP would move to vote, and ignore their Democratic colleagues attempts at prolonging the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
