The Trump economy is on fire, and it’s even more on fire for Hispanics than most groups. Hispanics were among the biggest victims under the Obama Administration with low growth, and a high-regulatory economy.
The Census Bureau last week announce the New household income numbers. Those numbers of course showed that the median income for Hispanic households grew by almost 4% (3.7% to be exact). That’s more than double the increase seen by all households.
Also notable, more Hispanics are moving into upper-income brackets, and fewer remained in lower ones.
In addition to rising incomes, there are more job opportunities than ever today for Hispanics. The Department of Labor announced this month that the Hispanic Employment rate remained at a record low below 5 percent for the fifth consecutive month.
Median weekly earnings for Hispanics that work full time has also grown by 4.3% over the past two years under Trump.
