Former Navy Seal Eli Crane sat down with CRTV host Eric Bolling to discuss Beto O’Rourke’s remarks about kneeling for the flag. O’Rourke compared taking in an NFL Football game to defending American in Combat, in a ridiculous statement.

“You know It’s really hard for me to watch. When I was overseas and all of us were wearing the American flag on our shoulders or our gear, we were black, white, we were brown nobody cared what color we were. And we all fought for all Americans. We didn’t care what city you came from, we didn’t care who you prayed to. We didn’t care about any of that, we fought for all Americans. When you see things like this, and I can’t speak for all veterans, it’s really hard to watch.”

Speaking about the kneeling during the National Anthem, Eli Crane also had this to say.

“That’s the point, Beto and a lot of these folks that are defending these athletes want to have it both ways. They want to say that it has nothing to do with disrespecting the flag or the anthem, yet they won’t do the protests any other time. And what Patriotic American’s like myself are saying, if it’s not about the flag, and it’s not about the anthem, then do it some other time. I don’t agree with the protest, but I fought for your right to protest. I’m glad we have the right to disagree. But I’m not going to stand by and watch the NFL, I’m not going to purchase their merchandise anymore, and to me it’s completely disgraceful that they’re choosing that time to protest.”
