College of the Ozarks, a small Christian school in Branson, Missouri fired shots at Nike on Thursday afternoon. The school will be dropping Nike from all of their athletic programs going forward. Nike of course added disgruntled former NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick to be it’s main spokesperson for their ‘Just Do It’ campaign this week.

“In their new ad campaign, we believe Nike executives are promoting an attitude of division and disrespect toward America,” School President Jerry Davis said in a statement. “If Nike is ashamed of America, we are ashamed of them. We also believe that those who know what sacrifice is all about are more likely to be wearing a military uniform than an athletic uniform.”

College of the Ozarks has about 1,500 students and is an NAIA-member school. It has six athletic teams but does not compete in football.

Last fall, the college announced all its coaches and players would be required to stand for the National Anthem and would not participate in any event in which members of the opposing team refused to do the same.
